Muslims across the country celebrated Eid ul-Fitr with zest and zeal on Monday.
The great festival of the Islamic community was observed with great gaiety and gusto by reciting special Namaz, exchanging happiness and greetings with each other.
The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the dawn-to-dusk fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. (PR)
On this day, Muslims gathered mainly in the mosque or any outdoor location in the early morning for prayer and break their fast feasting on delicacies.
The government has declared a public holiday today on the occasion.
