The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has caught two officials of Revenue Investigation Department, Banke, red-handed with bribe on Friday.
Investigation officer Bhim Prasad Ghimire and computer operator Govinda Bahadur Shahi were arrested from their office while they were receiving Rs 570,000 kick back from service seekers, according to CIAA spokesperson Jeevraj Koirala.
The duo had asked for the bribe with the clients in order to tamper and fix the tax and related documents seized from businessmen. RSS
