Five persons were injured when a bomb went off at election officer's office at Vadganga Municipality in Kapilvastu district.
DSP Prahlad Adhikari informed the bomb exploded when a joint panel of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) was returning after filing their nomination for second phase of local level election.
The injured are being treated at a local hospital.
