Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of petroleum products on Friday.
The NOC has decided to reduce Rs 1.50 per litre in petrol, diesel and kerosene effective from Friday midnight.
According to the new revised rate, the price of petrol will be Rs 100 per litre. Earlier, the price of petrol was Rs 101. 50.
Similarly, the price of kerosene and diesel will be Rs 76 per litre each.
Earlier, the price of kerosene and diesel was Rs 77.50.
The state-owned oil monopoly, however, has not reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
NOC spokesperson Sita Ram Pokharel said the fuel prices were revised in the line with the price list forwarded by Indian Oil Corporation, NOC’s sole supplier.
