Speaking at a programme organised in the Capital on Friday, the UML leader said that the NC had decided to postpone the elections after it reached a weak conclusion.
“RJP-N was used just to fulfil the vested interests of NC,” he said, adding, “The Maoist Centre was also deceived.”
He said that the RJP-N and the Election Commission had also reservations over the government’s decision.
The NC had not even consulted with the main opposition while taking the decision to postpone the elections, leader Pokharel said.
The government’s decision to defer the polls was undemocratic and against the spirit of constitution, he claimed.
