Two people died and another one injured when a jeep met with an accident at Shivanath Village Council-2 in Baitadi on Thursday.
The goods carrier vehicle (Se 1 Cha 1155) heading for Kurn of Sharmali from Melauli skidded off the road and plunged 20 meters down at around 11 am today, police said. Driver Shiva Raj Chaudhary, a permanent resident of Kailali, and Lal Singh Mahat, of Shiva Nath-4, died on the spot.
Haridutta Bhatta of Bishalpur was injured in the accident.
