Dang police Chief SP Dhiraj Pratap Singh said police has also made public the sketch of the kidnappers and any person providing information about the kidnapped persons or their kidnappers will be awarded with the prize money.
An unidentified armed group had kidnapped Raj Kumar Shrestha of Tulsipur and Rana Bahadur Gharti of Ghorahi while they were on their way to to Salyan from Dang district on Friday night. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
Gharti’s vehicle was travelling ahead of Shrestha’s when the kidnappers threw stones to stop it. The kidnappers then forced Gharti into Shrestha’s vehicle and drove away, according to Superitendent of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh.
Shrestha’s vehicle (Ba 12 Cha 1071) was found abandoned at Sheetal Bazaar in Salyan district. Gharti was travelling in a vehicle with an Indian licence number.
