CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) candidates have been elected unopposed in the Marsyangdi village council in northern Lamjung.
Six candidates were elected in the joint panel, which include two from Dalit or marginalized communities and six women.
In women's category, CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Anita BK and CPN (UML) candidates Chautari Tamang, Dil Kumari Thapa and Parkashi Gurung were elected. From the Dalit or marginalized communities, Maoist Centre's Krishna Bahadur BK and CPN (UML)'s Nanda Ram BK were elected.
Nepali Congress among other parties did not register their candidates leading to the two parties' unopposed victory. RSS
