A person was injured when the cadres of agitating Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) clashed with police personnel in Rajbiraj of Saptari on Tuesday.
The injured has been identified as Satish Kumar Singh. He is receiving treatment at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital.
The clash ensued after the police personnel tried to stop the RJPN cadres from padlocking the office of chief election officer this morning.
As part of its protest programmes, the Madhes-based party was scheduled to padlock the offices of election officers across the nation.
