The CPN-UML has pressed the District Adminis-tration Office to take an initiative to elevate Janakpur Sub-metropolis as a metropolis.
A delegation of the UML Janakpur Municipal Commit-tee submitted demands to CDO Dilip Kumar Chapagain on Friday.
Meanwhile, people of Raghunathpur organised a protest demanding a separate village council. (PR)
