As many as nine persons have fallen ill after consuming toxic mushroom at Kamal Municipality in Jhapa district on Thursday night.

According to SP Rajan Limbu of the Area Police Office, Damak, Bishnu Ghimire, 33, Salina Ghimire, 14, Sandhya Ghimire, 10, Soni Ghimire, 7, Sonika Ghimire, 2,  Uma Ghatani, 28, Indra Ghatani, 11, Chandra Ghatani, 9, and Sabina Ghatani, 2,  of Kamal Municipality-4 have fallen sick after they ate curry of the wild mushroom brought nearby jungle.

All of them are receiving treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital. RSS
