Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal handed over his resignation letter to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari according to Article 298 (8.1) of the constitution.
After receiving the resignation from PM Dahal, President Bhandari thanked the prime minister and his cabinet members for the works carried out during his tenure, read a press statement issued by President’s spokesperson Mohan Prasad Wagle.
According to Article 298 (10) of the constitution, Dahal-led Cabinet will continue its work until the formation of a new Cabinet.
