A temporary policeman recruited for the security of the local level elections died in a motorcycle accident at Kanchanrup Municipality-11 in Saptari on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Min Narayan Chaudhary, 26, of Krishna Sabaran Village Council-3, Saptari. He was deputed at the Area Police Office in Mohuli, Saptari.

The incident occurred when the bike (NA 33 Pa 4122) he was riding on suddenly went out of the control and met with an accident today.

Police said that another temporary policeman Ragunandan, 23, of Krishna Sabaran Village Council who was riding pillion on the bike, was critically injured in the incident.

He is receiving treatment at the Theliya-based Dharmeshwor Hospital, according to the Area Police Office, Mohuli.
