Kin of Maleth clash victims get Rs 1m each
Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi on Wednesday handed over cheques for Rs1 million each to the families of five men who were killed in Maleth clash on March 6.

Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi on Wednesday handed over cheques for Rs1 million each to the families of five men who were killed in Maleth clash on March 6.
Sanjan Mehta, Pitambar Mandal and Birendra Mahato of Maleth; Anand Sah of Prasabani; and Indradev Yadav of Jamuni Madhepura were killed when police opened fire at the cadres of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha for disrupting the CPN-UML’s Mechi Mahakali Campaign.
Nidhi also apologised for the incident on government’s behalf and declared the five men martyrs. (PR)
