Candidates vying in the first phase of local elections are casting their votes at various polling stations in province 3, 4 and 6 on Sunday.

Sajha Party mayoral candidate from Kathmandu Metropolitan City Kishore Thapa has cast his vote from Balkhu on Sunday.

Likewise, CPN-UML mayoral candidate from KMC Bidhya Sundar Shakya also cast ballots from Lagantole, Kathmandu.

Bibeksheel Nepali Party's mayor candidate from KMC Ranju Darshana has cast her votes from Maharajgunj.

The first phase of local level elections commenced in three provinces of the country (3, 4 and 6) this morning.
