A bomb went off in the premises of Barahi Higher Secondary School at the Lakeside in Pokhara, Lekhnath Metropolitan City, on Friday night.
According to Ward Police Office, Baidam, unidentified group threw the bomb inside the school from outside the wall at midnight and fled away.
No human casualties have been reported, but the explosion has spread panic among the locals.
Police believe that the Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist cadres were involved in the incident.
The polling centre for ward-6 has been setup at the school where the explosion took place.
Police are searching for those involved in such anti-election activities. RSS
