Two persons were killed and 35 others injured, nine critically, in a bus accident at Tinkilo near Khadichaur Bazaar in Sindhupalchok district on Thursday.
The vehicle (Ba 3 Kha 5056) swerved off the road and fell nearly 20 feet below. The bus was heading to Dolakha from Kathmandu. Police identified the deceased as Muktinath Ghimire and his wife Ratna Kumari of Lamidanda-4, Dolakha.
There were around 50 passengers in the bus. Nine seriously injured people were taken to Dhulikhel.
