A Nepali Congress candidate for the local level elections has died in Palpa on Friday.
Rajendra Shrestha, 46, who had filed his nomination for ward chairman of Tansen Municipality-4, Palpa, died of cardiac arrest this morning.
Shrestha, who suffered a heart stroke on Thursday evening, was rushed to the Gautam Buddha Community, where he breathed his last during treatment.
He was the Vice-Chairman of Palpa Chambers of Commerce.
