A stationary truck moved suddenly and hit a woman, killing her at Thaprek of Panchakanya Village Council-4 in Nuwakot district on Thursday.
According to police, 40-year-old Thuli Tamang died after she was hit by the truck (Ba 4 Kha 5595). However, it is sketchy how the truck moved suddenly. The accident site is near Mangala Devi High School in Arukharka. Police have been investigating the incident.
The dead body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem, police said.
