A pressure cooker bomb went off at the Sagarmatha Zonal Transport Management office in Lahan of Siraha district on Thursday.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
It has been learnt that the wall of a toilet was damaged in the explosion.
Security personnel have been deployed at the incident site, said DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey.
"The bomb went off while I was holding consultations with other employees in my office," said office Chief Omkar Prasad Neupane.
No one has claimed responsibility for the incident so far, DSP Pandey added. RSS
