9 injured in Lamjung jeep accident during election campaign

The jeep (Na 3 Cha 8617) was carrying the cadres of CPN-UML when the incident occurred at around 1 pm today, police said.
Among the injured, seven have been taken to the Ratnahari Hospital in Damauli, Tanahun.
Police said that two persons are in critical condition.
According to police, Dambar Shrestha, Bir Bahadur Nepali, Bishal Gurung, Prem Dura, Dinesh Gotame, Sujan Nepali and Prakash Nepali are receiving treatment at a hospital in Damauli.
It has been learnt that Sudeep Nepali and Manoj Nepali are undergoing treatment at a local health post.
Police said that the jeep driver fled the scene after the incident.
