With the May 14 local level elections only four days away, number of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley for their home districts for the polls is increasing.
The local level elections that are going to take place after a gap of around 19 years are scheduled to be held in Province 3, 4 and 6 in the first phase. The second phase of polls is slated for June 14.
Approximately 75,000 to 80,000 people are leaving the Valley on a daily basis, said Spokesperson for the Metropolitan Traffic police Division Lokendra Malla. RSS
