A cholera epidemic since the past few days in Musahar settlement in Kachanari of Bariyarpatti Village Council of Siraha has claimed a girl.
At least 10 persons have been taken ill from the contagious disease. Ram Udgar Sadaya's 10 – year – old daughter Kabita Sadaya died last night from the disease.
District Public Health Office (DPHO), Siraha Chief Dr Chumanlal Das said medical teams were dispatched to the location immediately after receiving information of the spread of the disease. The cause of the cholera epidemic in the Musahar settlement is yet to be ascertained. RSS
