Five persons were injured in separate incidents of lightning strikes here in the district.

Four persons in a nearby settlement were injured when a lightning struck the Haribute Sangkhelung Hydro Power at Fidim Municipality – 13.

In Fhalelung Village Council – 7, 30 – year – old Man Kumar Kerung was injured when a lightning struck the house of one Dhan Maya Angbo. Man Kumar is currently receiving treatment at a local health post and is reported to be in critical condition.

The other injured are Bhadra Dulal, 27, Pradeep Rai, 25, Jamuna Rai, 33 and her six – year – old son Kerbir Rai. They are in stable condition. RSS
