A woman candidate who filed her nomination for ward member in Dhunibesi VDC-3 of Dhading district under the woman Dalit quota for the local level elections committed suicide on Tuesday.
Bina Mijar, 35, of Dhunibesi-3 of the district, had registered her nomination from the CPN-UML yesterday.
According to a local source, she had a dispute with her family members over election expenses.
Born into a farmer family, Mijar was found hanging in her house last night.
