A cook of a hotel at Basantapur, Terathum, was found dead in the hotel restroom on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Rai, 45, who had been working as a cook at Yak Hotel. Basantapur Area Police Office informed that they found Rai dead after breaking down the restroom door following a complaint from hotel staffers that he did not come out of the loo for a long time.
Rai’s body has been sent to District Hospital for postmortem.
