High-level team mobilised for code of conduct monitoring

Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday mobilised a high-level Election Code of Conduct Monitoring Team in three provinces where first phase of elections is scheduled to take place.
Election Commissioners Ila Sharma and Narendra Dahal have been given the responsibility of monitoring whether pole codes have been violated in the province 3.
Another Commissioner Sudhir Shah has been assigned to monitor the conduct of conduct violation in province 6 and Commissioner Ishawori Paudel is monitoring the violation of conduct of conduct in province 4.
EC Spokesperson Surya Sharma said that high-level team was mobilised as incidents of code of conduct violations take place frequently after the candidates are nominated.
