A woman has died when a rhinoceros attacked her in a community forest in Chitwan on Saturday.
District Police Chief SP Dipak Thapa said the deceased has been identified as Sukmaya Kumal, 50, of Salbas, Bharatpur-28. Another person was injured in the attack and has been receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
Police said Kumal had gone to fetch grass at the forest and sustained major injuries to her face in the attack. She died during course of treatment.
