President Bidya Devi Bhandari is returning home on Friday following a five-day state visit to India.

President Bhandari arrived in India on April 17 at the invitation of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

During her visit, Bhandari met with her Indian counterpart Mukherjee at the Presidential Palace in Delhi along with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley among influential leaders of various political parties.
