Police on Friday arrested 13 cadres of the agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) for trying to disrupt the voter education training in Janakpur.
Cadres of the newly unified Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Sanjay Singh, Parmeshwor Sah and Pramod Yadav, among others, were arrested for trying to disrupt the election activities, police said.
They have been kept at the District Police Office, Dhanusha.
Morcha leaders and cadres have staged demonstration outside the District Police Office, demanding release of their fellow cadres.
