The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) on Wednesday suspended five employees for their alleged involvement in irregularities.
The employees facing the music are Nay Raj Nepal, chief of Transport Management Office, Koshi; Tikaram Adhikari, account officer; Suresh Adhikari and Rudra Prasad, accountants; and non-gazetted first class officer (nayab subba) Tikaram Bastola, according to the DoTM.
They were found involved in committing irregularities while making revenue entry. Dhan Bahadur Tamang, secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, had ordered to suspend the persons in question after a ministerial level decision.
