An Indian man, who was reportedly abducted on April 5, was rescued from Lahan Municipality in Siraha district on Tuesday morning.
A joint police team from the Sagarmatha Zonal Police Office and the Area Police Office, Lahan, acting on a tip off, raided the house of one of the abductors Ramesh Lama at Betaha, where the abducted Pradip Yadav was kept and rescued him, said DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey.
Three abductors—Lama, Jayaram Yadav and Dip Narayan Yadav from Saptari—have been arrested in connection with the incident, informed DSP Pandey.
Pradip would be handed over to his family after necessary investigations, he added. RSS
