Nilu Patel of Pipara of Birgunj Sub-metropolis-14 who was shot in the left temple by an unidentified person on Tuesday died in course of medical treatment on Wednesday night.
Patel, 23, spouse of Birendra Patel was rushed to the Birgunj-based National Medical Teaching Hospital, following a shot from an unknown individual in the wee hours of Tuesday. She was shot while she was sleeping.
Though a bullet was removed from her head through surgery, no improvement was seen in her health condition. She breathed her last at 9:15 pm Wednesday, the District Police Office, Parsa said.
Police suspect a hand of the members of her family in the incident and her husband is also being interrogated by keeping at the Office. RSS
