A man died after he was attacked by a spade in Gaindakot of Nawalparasi district on Thursday.
Police identified the deceased as Sheshkanta Rimal, 36, of Dumkibas.
Bishnu Prasad Paudel, 41, of Gaindakot Municipal-2 had attacked Rimal over a minor dispute at around 3 am today.
Rimal was a tenant at Paudel’s house.
Critically injured in the incident, Rimal breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur.
Police have arrested Paudel for investigation, according to police Inspector Subash Hamal of the Area Police Office, Gaindakot.
