Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter’s office in Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday.
Issues relating to mutual interests and President Bhandari’s upcoming state visit to India were discussed in the meeting.
President Bhandari will embark on a five-day state visit to India from April 17-21 at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee.
Nepal government’s high-level officials were also present in the meeting.
