Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday directed the newly appointed Inspector General of Police Prakash Aryal to steer police department to stick to commitment to maintain peace and security.
PM Dahal issued such direction during a meeting with Aryal, who paid a visit to the PM at his official residence in Baluwatar today.
PM Dahal also stressed the need for making strong and reliable arrangements for security to hold the local level elections in a free and fair manner, said PM's aide.
PM Dahal directed Aryal to execute his responsibilities and that of his whole department in a disciplined and impartial way keeping in mind the approaching polls that are slated for May 14. RSS
