Fire guts four houses in Chitwan

The fire broke out from a wooden house belonging to Ramesh BK of Dibyanagar of Bharatpur Metropolitan City – 26 and spread to two houses in the neighbourhood. The fire destroyed the two houses and inflicted a loss of around Rs 1.6 million, Area Police Office, Dibyanagar said.
The fire was taken under control with help of fire engines dispatched from Bharatpur, police and the local residents. Human casualties and injuries to livestock have not been reported in the incident.
In another incident, Sher Bahadur Pariyar's house at Dhailadhari in eastern Chitwan was destroyed after a fire broke out from a lighter being used by a kid. The fire gutted properties worth Rs 50,000, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.
On Sunday, a fire at the remote Ichakamana Village Council of Chitwan destroyed properties estimated at more than Rs 700,000. In the fire, two houses were destroyed while goats and chickens were also killed. RSS
