An absconding murder convict has been arrested by a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Huwash, on Thursday.
Lital Thapa of Urampokhara, 29, of Bihadi Village Council – 5 was arrested with the fake citizenship certificate.
He had made the fake citizenship certificate to avoid arrest.
The Parbat District Court on January 15, 2011 had sentenced Thapa to life in prison for murdering Roshan Rana with a sharp weapon on May 18, 2003.
The same year Thapa made the fake citizenship certificate in name of Mansingh Thapa from the DAO Parbat, police said.
Police have handed over Thapa to the Parbat District Court.
