Property worth around Rs 500,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a momo shop following a cooking gas cylinder explosion at Milanchown in Kapan on Thursday.
According to DSP Bipin Regmi of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Boudha, the fire was later taken under control with the help of locals and police personnel.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
