The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a charge sheet against six staffers at the Nalsinghgad Hydroelectricity Project for irregularities while appointing a consultant.
The CIAA filed a graft case against hydro project Development Committee Managing Director Moti Bahadur Kunwar and six others demanding a fine of Rs 272.4 million.
The anti-graft body has filed the case at the special court against Senior Divisional Engineer Surya Prasad Rijal, Gokarna Raj Pantha, Accounts Officer Anand Chapagain, Legal officer Rajesh Kumar Thapa and Australia-based SMEC International Pvt. Ltd. consultant representative Udip Lal Shrestha.
