Leaders of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Centre) and agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) are holding a meeting at Baluwatar to discuss contemporary political issues on Friday.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had summoned the meeting today at a time when the Morcha leaders have been warning that they would boycott the local level elections if their demands were not addressed promptly.
It has been learnt that the meeting will dwell on local level elections and constitution amendment bill, among others.
The Morcha leaders have been saying that they would not take part in the local polls slated for May 14 if the issue of revision of provincial boundary was not resolved at the earliest.
