A three-year-old minor has fallen prey to rape in Hasanpur of Dhagadhi, Kailali district, on Wednesday.
Maheshwor Sharma, 17, of Hasanpur, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-5, had allegedly raped the girl while she was playing at her house, the District Police Office (DPO), Kailali, informed.
Police said that they arrested Sharma from Chatakpur of the district following the incident.
According to Inspector Indra Malla of the DPO, the girl is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
