NC forms Central Work Execution Committee
The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) on Sunday formed its Central Work Execution Committee.The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) on Sunday formed its Central Work Execution Committee.
A Central Working Committee meeting of the party endorsed the proposal to form the committee comprising three office bearers and 22 members, NC leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed.
According to Karki, NC President Sher Bahdur Deuba, General Secretary Shashanka Koirala, treasurer Sita Devi Yadav, central members Prakash Man Singh, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Gopal Man Shrestha, Bimalendra Nidhi, Kul Bahadur Gurung, Khum Bahadur Khadka, Chitra Lekha Yadav, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Ram Sharan Mahat, and Arjun Narsingh KC are in the Central Work Execution Committee.
The other members of the committee are Bal Bahdur KC, Mahesh Acharya, Narhari Acharya, Pradeep Giri, Bal Krishna Khand, Gyanendra Karki, Ramesh Rijal, Narayan Khadka, Minendra Rijal, Prakash Sharan Mahat, Farmullah Mansoor, and Man Bahadur Bishwokarma.
Likewise, the party has formed a committee headed by central leader Mahesh Acharya to prepare the party’s manifesto for the local level elections.
The ongoing meeting at the party headquarters in Sanepa, Lalitpur, has been discussing current political situation, election preparations, constitution amendment and party operation, NC sources said.
President Sher Bahadur Deuba has presented a 9-point agenda in the NC Central Working Committee convened after a long a gap.
