Chinese Defence Minister returns home

The Chinese Minister had arrived in Kathmandu at the invitation of the Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khand on Thursday.
During his stay here, the Chinese Minister paid courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal separately.
Similarly, he also met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi and Minister for Defence Bal Krishna Khand.
The Chinese Minister held talks with Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Rajendra Chhetri at the latter's office at the Army Headquarters on Friday.
Earlier today, the Chinese Minister visited Basantapur Durbar Square where various heritages enlisted in the World Heritage site were damaged by the April 25, 2015 earthquake.
Issues related to strengthening bilateral ties, assistance to Nepal Army for construction activities and training and transfer of skills in disaster management among others were discussed with the leaders during his stay in Nepal.
Minister Chang was seen off at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Defence Minister Khand and Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Shreedhar Sapkota. RSS
