At least six people died and three others injured when a jeep met with an accident at Pyuthan on Friday.
The ill fated jeep ( Ba 1 Cha 1561) carrying pilgrims to Swargadwari from Kathmandu tipped over and fell some 200 meter from the road at Rumale, Bhingri-6, police informed said. The deceased are yet to be identified.
Swargadwari Police Beat Sub-Inspector Tilak Bhatta informed preparations are under way to take jeep driver, Saroj Ghale of Gotikhel, Lalitpur, along with two other passengers who were seriously injured during the accident to another hospital for further medical treatment.
Pyuthan Chief District Officer Yadunath Poudel said that the police have reached the accident site and details regarding the incident are yet to come.
