The ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) on Thursday provided Rs 600,000 to the family of martyr Govinda Gautam.
Gautam was killed in an alleged firing by India’s Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) in Punarbas of Kanchanpur on March 9.
Gautam’s wife Laxmi Gautam received the amount from the party’s local leaders this morning, informed the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Earlier, Agriculture Development Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Gauri Shankar Chaudhary had announced to provide compensation amount to the Gautam’s family. RSS
