A person died and six others were injured when a pick-up truck fell off the road at Madanpur Basuki in Belkotgadi of Nuwakot district on Thursday.
According to SP Nuwakot District Police Office, Dev Bahadur Bohara, the deceased has been identified as Toyanath Rimal, 70, of the same area.
Police believed that the incident occurred after the driver lost control of the truck. The vehicle (Ba 4 Kha 2448) fell some 100 metres down the road.
The injured are receiving treatment at the Trishuli Hospital, police informed.
