Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two persons for allegedly operating a fake driving licence racket from Lalitpur.
According to the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur, the suspects have been identified as Anil Kumar Pakhrin and Ganesh Bahadur Gole of Bhadrakali, Sindhuli.
They were found selling driving licences to clients by using forging seals and holograms of the Bagmati Zonal Office of the Department of Transport Management and signatures of officials, police said.
DSP Ishwor Karki informed that a printer, holograms and blank licence cards were recovered from their possession.
It has been learnt that Pakhrin used to make fake driving licences and Gole used to search clients
