The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) boycotted the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Tuesday.
Dharmendra Kumar Sah Teli of Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party, a constituent of the SLMM, said that the Morcha has decided to boycott the House meeting after the major political parties did not take initiative to address its demands.
He also called on big political parties to proceed with the constitution amendment process and create a conducive environment for consensus and collaboration.
With Sah concluding his views, Madhesi lawmakers stood up from their respective seats and started chanting slogans. RSS
