SEE examinee killed in Rajbiraj truck hit

A student, who was on her way to attend the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE), died after being hit by a truck at Rupnagar in Rajbiraj along the East-West Highway on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Nitu Kumari Thakur, 16, of Bhardaha, Saptari, the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur, said.
The truck (Na 1 Ka 5200) heading towards east from west hit Thakur this morning.
Thakur, who was critically injured in the incident, breathed her last on the way to the Gajendra Nayaran Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital.
Police said that they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
